NEWIndoor + outdoor routing
Door-to-desk, street to seat.
Mapfloors joins your floor plans to the outdoor world: streets, parking, transit stops and campus paths. Visitors get one continuous route from wherever they are to the room they need.
01What you get
The part every other indoor map skips.
01
Outdoor network included
Streets and paths from OpenStreetMap and city data, with your own campus paths on top.
02
Smart entrances
Routes pick the right entrance for the destination, time of day and accessibility needs.
03
Parking and transit start points
Start from a parking space, bus stop, tram stop or ride-share drop-off.
04
Multi-building campuses
Route between buildings across skybridges, tunnels and courtyards.
05
Opening hours on doors
Entrances and passages can close at night; routes adapt to the time of travel.
06
One link for visitors
Put a single link in appointment reminders and invites. It routes from the visitor’s location.
02How it works
From zero to live in three steps.
- 1
Place the building
Venues are georeferenced, so they sit exactly on the street map.
- 2
Mark entrances
Tag doors as public entrances with hours and accessibility.
- 3
Publish
Outdoor and indoor routing becomes one network automatically.
This is what a GIS underneath gets you.
Mapfloors is built on Atlas, a cloud GIS used for city, infrastructure and real estate data. Indoor and outdoor are the same kind of data, so joining them is native, not a bolt-on.

Good to know
Where does the outdoor map data come from?
By default from OpenStreetMap and Atlas basemaps. You can add your own campus paths, parking layouts and city datasets.
Can the route continue in Google or Apple Maps for driving?
Yes. For longer trips, Mapfloors hands off to the visitor’s preferred navigation app and picks up again at the car park.
