AIAI floor plan import
From floor plan to routable map, without the mapping project.
AI import is how our mapping team turns the drawings you already have into a routable map. It reads walls, rooms, doors, stairs and lifts and builds the routing network, so people spend their time checking the map instead of tracing it. Self-managed teams use the same tool for updates.
01What you get
Works with the drawings you actually have.
01
Any source format
DWG and DXF with or without clean layers, vector or scanned PDFs, IFC and Revit exports, photos of evacuation plans, and phone LiDAR scans.
02
Room and door detection
Detects enclosed spaces, openings and door swings, then suggests room types from labels and shape.
03
Vertical connections
Finds stairs, lifts and escalators and links them across floors automatically.
04
Text and room numbers
Reads room numbers and names from the drawing and attaches them to the right spaces.
05
Confidence highlighting
Anything the model is unsure about is flagged, so review takes minutes rather than a full redraw.
06
Portfolio scale
Whole portfolios are processed in parallel, so twenty buildings don’t take twenty times as long.
02How it works
From zero to live in three steps.
- 1
Send
Share whatever drawings you have, for one building or a whole portfolio.
- 2
We build
AI import drafts every floor and our mapping team checks and finishes it.
- 3
You approve
Review the map with your stakeholders. Nothing goes live until you say so.
No months-long digitising project.
Manual tracing is why indoor mapping used to take months. AI import does the heavy lifting and our team checks the result, so your first map arrives faster and later changes take minutes, whoever makes them.

04Questions
Good to know
How accurate is the AI import?
On clean CAD it is usually close to final. On low-quality scans our team spends more time on flagged areas. Either way, nothing is published until you approve it.
Are our drawings used to train models?
No. Customer drawings are processed for your workspace only and are not used for training.
We only have a photo of an evacuation plan. Is that enough?
Often, yes. If the drawings are missing or out of date, we can also scan the building on site.

Book a 30-minute demo. Send a floor plan beforehand and we’ll walk you through your own venue, not a generic one.
